Mueller Eyes West Division
Threepeat
CHICAGO (Apr. 15) -- Chicago picked up where they left off last year,

in the West Division. The Colts swept Louisville, Los
Angeles, and San Francisco before falling on April 10 in a 7-1
loss to Cleveland. Billy Pierce shut out the Colonels with
a five-hit gem on Opening Day, and Norm Cash took home the
year's first Player of the Week honors, hitting .556 with 7 RBI
and 8 runs. Chicago is first in most runs scored and
fewest runs allowed, and has a four-game lead over second place
Los Angeles.
