United League News Article | |  | Friday, April 21st, 1967: San Francisco Second Baseman Hurt Pete Rose of the San Francisco Spiders could be headed for the disabled list after suffering a hyperextended knee in a game against the St. Louis Maroons. He is expected to miss at least 4 weeks. The San Francisco second baseman was injured colliding with a player at a base. Rose said, "Right now I am pretty sore and I don't feel very good at all."
This year Rose has hit at a .347 pace and produced 16 RBIs, 1 home run and scored 10 runs. | |
