United League News Article | |  | Saturday, February 25th, 1967: St. Louis and Los Angeles Agree to Swap Officials for the St. Louis Maroons confirmed that they have traded 36-year old shortstop Harvey Kuenn, 22-year old right fielder Rusty Staub, 33-year old starting pitcher Arnold Earley, a 1st round draft pick and a 2nd round draft pick to the Los Angeles Outlaws. In return, the Maroons will receive 23-year old left fielder Roy White, 25-year old second baseman Jim Lefebvre, 26-year old starting pitcher Dick Ellsworth, 24-year old starting pitcher Steve Hargan, 28-year old third baseman Rich Rollins and a 2nd round draft pick.
In his 2119-game career Kuenn is hitting .287 with 2218 hits, 379 doubles, 42 triples and 120 home runs. He has scored 953 runs and driven in 920.
Lifetime Hargan has a 14-9 won-lost record with a 4.05 ERA. | |
