 | Friday, February 17th, 1967: MR Grim Inks $1,410,000 Pact with St. Louis St. Louis fans were pleased with the signing of Bob Grim today. The 36-year-old inked a 2-year, $2,820,000 deal with the Maroons. Though his numbers don't jump out at you, Grim does fill a void for St. Louis, according to several respected analysts. Up to now in his career Grim has compiled a 23-28 mark in 362 games with 244 strikeouts and 188 walks in 480.2 innings. He has been credited with 47 saves and has a 3.61 ERA. |
