In his historic outing, he surrendered 4 hits and 1 run in 8.1 innings with 10 strikeouts and 2 walks.
With a huge grin on his face, the 34-year-old Friend told reporters after the game, "Now I got to get real busy -- and start working on my next 200 wins."
