So far, the team's owners have refused to comment. |  | Dallas's Tom Griffin Suffers Setback Monday, October 1st, 1973: The Dallas Texans trainer was the bearer of bad news today as it was learned Tom Griffin's injury will keep him out of the lineup for longer than expected. The Texans starting pitcher is being treated for rotator cuff inflammation. During a routine exam, Griffin's condition was found to be worse than originally diagnosed and he is now expected to rehab at least another 2 weeks.
