At first, it looked like Palmer might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 2 weeks. A spokesman for the club described the loss of Palmer as a blow, but was confident that he'd be back soon.
This season Palmer has a 20-5 record with a 3.13 ERA. | | Wednesday, September 27th, 1967: CF Allison Signs Extension with Atlanta Rumors have become reality as Bob Allison put his signature on a contract that will keep him in Atlanta another 3 years. The deal is valued at $8,000,000 per year.
