The St. Louis Maroons have sent 25-year old center fielder Tommie Agee and a 2nd round draft pick to the Los Angeles Outlaws in exchange for 29-year old center fielder Jimmie Hall, 36-year old reliever Chet Nichols and a 2nd round draft pick.

In 1967, Hall is hitting .270 with 16 home runs and 66 RBIs in 115 games played. He sustained a strained hip muscle while running the bases. Demeter isn't expected to miss a lot of time. However, doctors want to be cautious. They said he would be day-to-day for about 1-2 weeks.
In his 1967 season totals, Demeter has 28 home runs, .305 BA, .357 OBP, 96 RBIs and 91 runs scored. | | Tuesday, September 19th, 1967: Fritz Peterson Out With DTD Injury Los Angeles's star starting pitcher Fritz Peterson injured himself in a game against the Atlanta Hilltoppers, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as a tender elbow and the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Peterson with a smile as he talked to SION reporters.
This season Peterson has compiled a 17-7 mark with a 2.67 ERA. | | | | Team Information | | Record overall | 89-71, .556 PCT | | Position in Division | 2nd, 10.0 GB | | Record at home | 48-32, .600 PCT | | Record on the road | 41-39, .512 PCT | | Record in X-inning games | 8-9, .471 PCT | | Record in one-run games | 20-22, .476 PCT | | Record versus LHP | 30-31, .492 PCT | | Record versus RHP | 59-40, .596 PCT | | Record last 10 games | 7-3, .700 PCT | | Record in April | 11-18, .379 PCT | | Record in May | 19-9, .679 PCT | | Record in June | 15-7, .682 PCT | | Record in July | 14-10, .583 PCT | | Record in August | 15-14, .517 PCT | | Record in September | 15-13, .536 PCT |
